Yesterday was awesome. It was so much fun watching Mylo open presents, and great to spend time with our family. We started a new tradition, which we hope to do every year now that we're parents. We got a book that is called "Twas the Night: The Nativity Story", which is the story of Jesus' birth, but to the same cadence and "Twas the Night Before Christmas". We read that to Mylo before he went to bed, then we prayed together as a family. Then we were up opening presents by 6:00 am! We went to my mom's house in the morning to spend time with my side of the family, then Jon's parents came over to our house in the afternoon for our traditional Christmas BBQ ribs. Mylo got SO many toys, our house is overloaded! We had a blessed day with our family, and of course spent it in our Christmas jammies.
