I've never used cloth diapers before. The thought of washing and rewashing and REWASHING poopy diapers just doesn't sound appealing to me. BUT...with the price of diapers these days (and the price is rising...) I might be willing to mix in a few cloth diapers here and there. ESPECIALLY if I get them for FREE! BabyCheapskate is giving away 12 BumGenius cloth diapers. So wish me luck in winning them!

Cloth Diapers
I've never used cloth diapers before. The thought of washing and rewashing and REWASHING poopy diapers just doesn't sound appealing to me. BUT...with the price of diapers these days (and the price is rising...) I might be willing to mix in a few cloth diapers here and there. ESPECIALLY if I get them for FREE! I have always loved pampers diapers and was pretty exclusive with them when Grace was a baby. Then with Gauge we discovered Costco (Kirkland) brand diapers. I love them!
I'm considering cloth diapers for this baby also, but not entirely sure. Pampers worked just fine for Audrey...but she did have lots of diaper rash and gah...the cost of them.
So, I ordered a sampler pack from Cotton Babies to give this all a whirl and see. It's not too much of an investment that I'll feel guilty if it doesn't work out, but enough to give me a feel for it. Plus, extra diapers around the house is never a bad idea- saves late night runs to the grocery store.

I have been using cloth diapers(bumGenius)for about 7 months now and I would never go back. They are a bit of an investment at first but they pay themselves off in five months or so. The best thing about the bumGenius is that they are one size fits all (well that is from 8 lbs up.) I don't think anyone looks forward to washing them (LOL) but they aren't that bad.
