Today my sister and I took our little scientists to Cosi. What's Cosi you ask? Why it's the center for science and industry, of course! It was actually voted the #1 science center in the country by Parents magazine. But more importantly, its just plain fun!
On board for the science adventure today was Lisa (my sis), Hayden (my nephew), Jake (the boy my sister watches), me, Mylo and Phinny.
Our first adventure was to the ocean, where we saw a submarine, and my sister was actually brave enough to climb in there with the boys. I would have had an anxiety attack from the claustrophobia and quite honestly I am surprised that she didn't!...
Somewhere (probably at my mom's house) there is a picture of me and Lisa on that exact same sub when we were little. I'll have to dig that up.
There are these cool "old towns" you can walk through, one of them being a town from the 1960's - we of course had to test our hula-hooping skills.
The boys were the best at it...
My sister...not too bad...at least she's still smiling...
Me - apparently I turn into an even HUGER dork than I already am when attempting to hula hoop. No joke: one of the workers was laughing at me and said, "you gotta put your hips into it!"...
Hey, I'm really good at the Wii Fit hula-hooping...I hold 1st place, so gimme a break.
Cosi has this HUGE play room just for little ones that has just about the coolest stuff to play and learn with. Phin's favorite: the water table!...
"I lllllike it here, Mommy!"...
Hayden at the big boy water table. (notice how his tongue is sticking out - he does this when he's concentrating, and what do ya know, so does my sister!! teehee)...

This wall was a hit with the boys because there was lots of buttons to push, and each one made some sort of bodily function noise (i.e. farts and burps - a boy's dream)...
Then it was time to hit the road, and here's what I saw 5 minutes into our drive home...

wow cosi has come a long way!!! Wish I wasnt 7 hours away! Next time I come home lets have a play date there!
