When something is messy, Mylo likes to yell "Oh no, big mess!" (even though he's usually the CREATOR of the big mess!)
This evening as I sat down at my piano, those words went through my head as I looked at my piano!
Big mess.
As it usually is.
My music and such starts piling up...
And the keyboard cover is completely covered in smudgy finger prints...
Due to curious fingers wanting to make beautiful music...
It probably totally stresses out my way-more-organized-than-me husband who was so generous in buying me my beloved piano.
But the piles and the fingerprints don't stress me out or bother me even in the slightest.
It means my beautiful piano is well loved and often-played.
The only music that has been played on that piano is worship music.
We love to be in that room and worship the Lord.
The bigger the piles of music, the more the Lord has been worshipped. And the more smudges means the more my children want to follow in my footsteps of being a musician and worshiper.
So I say, "Oh yes, big mess!"

I love your mess, wish I had your musical talent to have a mess like that. Bailey calls messes "big fat messes"! I guess I have used that phrase a few too many times around her. Now every time she makes a mess she tells me that she made a "big fat mess".
