I'm on the hunt for a new suit, even though I just bought one last year. I'm not crazy about it, so I need a new one. It's like the most impossible task ever.
It used to be so easy.
Look how cute I used to be. This was 8 years ago. Pre-kids. I look nothing like that now, so don't go leaving me compliments in my comments or anything.
I really like the more "retro" looking ones. You know, the ones that have LOTS more coverage but super cute style?? I've got my eye on this one...
It's only $140 so I'll probably get 2 just in case.

I'm plotting how to convince my husband I neeeeed this.
I gave him 2 kids with a perfectly good bikini-body for goodness sake.
Before I make any sort of commitments to any bathing suits, I need to get my ghostly white legs just slightly more colored. Like frying up two slabs of albino bacon. Because fat looks better tan, don't ya think?
So today I laid out on my deck in my bathing suit bottoms praying not a single one of my retired-old-man-neighbors looked my way. Unfortunately I need to keep this horrifying ritual up, because I am seriously pale.

i love the retro look to that suit. Be glad u can even consider wearing a bikini :) ppl would think i had a tummy tuck gone wrong if i wore a bikini lol, owen did a number on me! 1 piece for me only, wah wah...

Lands End has some really nice suits that offer more coverage, but the price tag isn't much better yhan the one you want now.
I'm with Mrs. G on that one, Land's End has some serious chic-ness going on this season, with definite retro flare...we went tanning before Florida so we didn't fry our albino selves, and I convinced Marvin to let me buy one more month...so...I'll have pre-tanned fat when pool season hits! :-)
Girl, I so hear you on that! I seriously need a new suit. I am not sure I can do a two piece though. I need color so bad I am such a yucky color of white!
