Or maybe I just have writer's block.
Or maybe I've been playing catch up from vacation.
Or maybe I'm lazy.
Who knows.
There's not really much interesting going on here. Except...
Right before vacation my super wonderful husband installed my A.M.A.Z.I.N.G. new sink and faucet. Did I tell you that's what he got me for Mother's Day? I despised the one that came standard with our house, which made doing dishes no fun. And I do dishes EVERYDAY, ALL DAY LONG. You moms know what I'm sayin'.
So here's a glimpse of my new glorious sink and faucet...

Let me tell you that I now look forward to doing the dishes...especially the big ones since there's so much ROOM! (Don't tell my husband though.) It's so big I could practically bathe myself in it.
So that's about it. Just settling back into a routine here and enjoying summer! I will also share with you the meal I made the 1st day we were home from vacation. It was super easy and very summer-ish. I took pictures of my sink while washing the fruit, then took pics of the food we were making. Since I'm showing you the sink, what the heck, I'll share the food too.

Dinner:
Grilled salmon with my favorite seasoning.
Fruit Salad - grapes, nectarines, raspberries, strawberries
Salad - lettuce, tomato, carrots, avocado, dried cranberries, shredded cheddar cheese, salad scriggles (that's not their official name, they're like tortilla strip thingy's) with balsamic dressing
Hopefully I'll have some better blogging material soon. In the meantime, hope you're all enjoying your summer! Anyone else have good/easy summer recipes to share??

I LOVE my big single sink, too! The dark color is cool; it won't look like it needs a washin' as often!! :-)
