...seems to be the magic number my cervix is just hanging out at. Well, I guess today I'm more of a 3 1/2. But ZOMG you guys I've had so many sets of contractions that I SWORE was labor (but obviously wasn't), I simply can't believe my cervix is being so stubborn!
This morning, 37 weeks 5 days...
And from the front - wouldn't wantch'ya to miss out on the stretchmarks...
Lovely. Pictures don't even do the ginourmity justice. I get so many sympathy looks from strangers. Or it might just be because of my "I just stepped off of a horse" waddle and permanent disgruntled look on my face. Either or.
So...got my membranes stripped and I'm all set to go into labor. Anytime now. Really. I'M.ALL.SET. Did you hear that cervix? Stop dilly-dallying.
Wanna hear something super awesome? Well I happen to have the wonderfulest ob/gyn in the universe. She's been my doctor since I was 16, which is HALF my life...what?! Anyhow, she said even if she's not oncall and I go into labor, to call her. Then she proceeds to give me her cell AND home number and says I can even call at 3am. Which in all honesty I would be mortified to do...but hey, if its 8pm I won't hesitate. :)
Now I'm not as worried about the timing of going into labor when she can deliver. But really anytime today would be GREAT. (Did you hear that cervix? Talk to your buddy uterus down there and work something out.) Besides, Dr. Greco IS oncall tonight.

Seriously, you look fabulous. And I hope that baby & cervix start cooperating to let you get pregnancy wrapped all up and "mom to 3 boys" stated. :)
Its official, Des' pregnancy is just like Owens - u sound exactly like me!! and there were many nights I called the birthing center unsure what to do, because I felt like I was in labor but then again wasnt sure because I had so many contractions for SO long. It was like being pregnant for the 1st time - at least thats how it felt because I called them so much :)
