Once again I have to thank BabyCheapskate for the great money-saving tip on diapers. Meijer had a 2-day sale this weekend on Pampers jumbos. They are normally $8.99, but they were on sale for $6.99! There was a limit of two. So I went to pick mine up, and had a coupon for "Buy 2 get $2.00 off". Then at checkout, I got ANOTHER coupon for $1.50 off! I sent Jon back to Meijer that night with that coupon, plus a $1.00 one I had. Altogether I got 140 diapers for $23.50! That's about .16 cents per diaper, when the normal price without coupons is about .25 cents! Oh, the things that delight us stay-at-home-moms. I'm extremely pleased with myself. :)
As I write this, I am chowing down on my newest pregnancy craving, Gazpacho Salad. The recipe comes from my wonderful friend Shelly who made it for our friend Brittany. Poor Brittany is on bedrest because she's pregnant with TWINS! So Shelly brought this over to her, and she posted pictures of it on her blog. It looked irresistible to me, so I've made it SEVERAL times. Click here for the recipe. Yep, its a very large bag of Peanut M&M's. In fact, its called the XXL bag. :) I love my husband because while at Costco, we parted ways, and he came back with this unusually large bag of my newest best friend. :) He read ON MY BLOG that I had been chowing down on them. Tee-hee. :) I didn't so much HIDE my bag, I just didn't TELL him I had bought them, so he didn't know I had been sucking them down at record-breaking speeds.
Speaking of which........
I need to run upstairs and grab those. :) Time for some sweet goodness.
(And why are they on my nightstand? Because I went upstairs after church today to have some alone time and read a magazine....I needed a snack, of course!)

M&M's sound good now...and I'm not even preggo :) With Grace I craved milk, but it had to be ice cold. She loves loves loves milk! With Gauge I craved spicy stuff, which is kinda funny because normally I'm such a wimp. I wonder if he will share his daddies love of hot sauce on his food?

Mmmmmmmmm. Now I'm hungry for m&ms! Great job with the coupons. I get excited too when I can find good deals like that. I'm glad to know I'm not the only one!
