Apple picking and nursery bedding

Julie called me last night to go apple picking this morning with some of our girlfriends and kids. Of course, this sounds like a super fun thing to do! I was slightly hesitant though because we were supposed to go right in the middle of Mylo's morning nap. He doesn't do super well going out and doing things without his nap. But I really wanted to go, so we went anyways.

Mr. Grumple-pants decided when we got there that he simply COULD NOT walk. Or stand. Or let go of my leg. With it being an apple orchard and all, it wasn't possible to push him around in a stroller. So here's how we explored the hilly orchard in the heat...

Don't I look super comfortable carrying an extra 20 pregnancy lbs. AND a 22 lb. toddler on my back?!

Luckily I had a sympathetic friend...

My friend Melissa is a missionary in Tanzania and is back in the states to have her 3rd son...in less than 2 weeks! Doesn't she look great?!

Then as soon as we got into the farm's store, where there was CANDY, all of a sudden, someone's legs started working again!...

Naughty, naughty. He gets this from his dad :) ...

Next subject...we got Phinny's nursery bedding in the mail last week! It is even cuter in real life! I had so much fun setting it all up. I can't wait to get some quilt clips and get his quilt hung on the wall!

Mylo was checking it out, and he approves...

So C.U.T.E., huh?! Phin just gave 3 kicks, which means, "Thanks Nana and Grandpops!"
