Here's where we were a year ago...

And here we are today...

Desmond, you are all things wonderful and good wrapped up in one little package of perfection.

Your name means "refreshing", "giver of joy and salvation".

The amount of joy you bring to our family is immeasurable.  You have refreshed our lives!

You amaze us everyday with you just being you.

Your newest favorite thing is playing cars, just like your big brother Mylo.

You can stack rings with the best of 'em, which I think is pretty advanced for a 1 year old.

You crawl all over the place, pull yourself up on everything, and can stand by yourself.

You LOVE to play anything with your brothers.  Watching the 3 of you together makes my heart swell with pride and love.

You are now eating just about everything we do.  You're a fantastic eater, and get the job done with all of TWO teeth.

(ok, more like 1 1/2 teeth.)

You're also a fantastic sleeper.  You have the most easy going disposition of any baby I've ever met.  You smile ALL the time.  You only cry if you're super tired or just got hit in the head with a rogue toy that "slipped" out of one of your brothers' hands.

Pretty much you're just plain AMAZING Desmond Jonah!  We are head over heals in love with you.  You complete our family and make us whole!
