From the splash pad to the pool to the other pool

Our plans today were to go to the splash pad near my mom's house.  But guess who was there?

Freakin' Mitt Romney.  I mean REALLY?  He doesn't even have his swim trunks on.  The least he could do is splash around a bit during his political rally if the rest of us can't.

*sigh*

We were all in our suits, ready for some water fun.  Luckily Gigi was with us (my mom) and she belongs to a country club.  With a pool.

Oh, but that pool was closed too.

Seriously?

Third time's a charm...another country club nearby was letting my mom's club members swim there.  Phew.

Looks like everyone in the area went...

It was worth all the hoopla thought, because Mylo and Desmond had a BLAST.  (Phinny did a special day with Daddy.)

Desmond is FEARLESS in the water...

This pool has one of those walk-in entries which was PERFECT for my kids.  Desmond is definitely a water baby.  He was so independent and didn't want to get out of the water at all.
