I think I'm going bananas as I stare at smushed up bananas on my carpet! Oh, today has been a day, if ya know what I mean. Mylo has been somethin', that's for sure! He's been grumpy and ornery all day. At every meal he refused to wear a bib. He just kept tearing it off, therefore getting his food all over the place. Then whenever I looked at him, he'd start rubbing food in his hair and laughing. Then he'd throw food on the floor. And of course Sophie is at her grandparents house, so there was no dog to clean up after him! I made the mistake of giving him a chunk of banana while he was walking around. Next thing, I see him smushing it into the carpet! Great! Because I just haven't had enough messes to clean up today! I really don't feel like scrubbing that banana out of my carpet. I'd much rather just blog about it. : ) sigh..........I need a vacation day. I'm going to the pool with JUST my mom, meaning NO BABIES, next Friday. I can't wait to lounge around doing nothing!

Going bananas!

I'll never forget when my best friend told me that her twin daughters rubbed a whole stick of butter all over their living room lounge chair! OH MY! Gauge is a very ornery little guy, I can see something like this in my future.
Wow Kate! Sounds like he's heading into the terrible twos a tad early! Benji is ornery like that at 4 and Ava's starting to do that now at 18mos. Alec didn't do it at all, so when Benji started, I was kind of shocked and wondered what I did wrong. Now I just realize that it comes with the territory.
Oh, and you may want to invest in a carpet cleaner or hardwood floors!
